Synopsis

The streets

C.R.Hoilett

There two three boys sitting on a wall. (They are looking in one direction. The oldest brother ( beatz) slaps the younger one ( little spritntz) round the head playfully. The two boy then start to play fight on the wall.)

A group of boys come round the corner. (One of the boys (bigman) shouts out the two boys names).

Beatz stands pulling little sprintz up at the same time.

The group of boys (ghetto super stars) walk over to beatz and little sprintz also greeting them with a little play fight.

They then start talking about little sprintz joining the gang.

One of the boys then throws a fake punch at little spritnz who flinches.

Beatz looks at the boy who then stops smilling.

Bigman then tells the two brothers to go do it.

The two brothers walk of shouting back at the group in a joking fashion.


The two boys walk down the road talking and joking with each other.

The boys then come towards a corner and stop to peer round the corner.

They see someone and beatz tells little sprintz to hide.

Then little sprintz say’s that maybe they shouldn’t do this.

Beatz tells him he has to or both there reps will be gone.

A guy comes round the corner and they both beatz and little sprintz jump out and jump the guy (Marcus)

Then three other guys come round the corner see the boys and jump in.

They pin the brothers and start to shout at them and tell them how messed up they are going to look after this.

Just before they throw the first punch the four boys then hear a shout from down the road look up and see the ghetto super stars running towards them.

The four boys sprint off.

The brothers then look up at bigman and then look at eachother. They both say thanks at the same time and get up.

They file in with the rest of the gang

Big man says to beatz he’s in just about they then all walk off and around the corner.

The two boy’s then start to play fight on the wall.) A group of boys come round the corner. (One of the boys (bigman) shouts out the two boys names). Beatz stands pulling little sprintz up at the same time. The group of boys (ghetto super stars) walk over to beatz and little sprintz also greeting them with a little play fight.They start talking about little sprintz joining the gang and his initiation .One of the boys throws a fake punch at little spritnz who flinches.
Beatz looks at the boy the boy stops smiling and looks at the ground.


Bigman tells the gang to get movin. (We find out later that what he means is beat the crap out of someone)Beatz and little sprintz walk with the group in a joking fashion. Beatz and little sprintz start talking in a serious manner. Bigman joins in on the conversation reminding little sprintz off the reputation the gang and his brother have got and how hard they worked to get it.The group then come towards a corner and stop to peer round the corner.

They see someone and beatz tells little sprintz to hide.Then little sprintz whispers that maybe they shouldn’t do this to beatz .Beatz tells him he has to or both there reps will be gone. Bigman looks at them both telling them to hurry up and hide.A guy comes round the corner and stops. Little sprintz hesitates to jump out. Little sprintz looks across at beatz. Beatz who is next to bigman then motions at little sprintz to get out there and punch the guy.Big man then motions if you don’t then I will to you at little sprintz.

Little sprintz then gets up and walks up to the man. Little sprintz asks if he has a light as the guy answers little sprintz throws a punch into the guys stomach. The gang all react in a cheery way commenting on how good the punch was. Little sprintz hesitates to hit the guy again.The guy Marcus then punches little sprintz before little sprintz could throw the next punch.

Little sprintz who realises now that he is smaller than the guy tries to recover from the punch and throw one back. The guy stops the punch and hits little sprintz in the stomach
beatz moves to go and help his brother bigman holds him back. little sprintz then kicks the guy in the shin.bigman looks at beatz as if to say I told you he’ll be fine. The guy hit’s little sprintz in the jaw little sprintz drops

Beatz then pushes past bigmans arm. Beatz kicks the guy and punches him down
The guy looks up gets up and runs of.Beatz goes down on his knees and brings his brother to his feet Little sprintz looks past his brother. Beatz turns round and sees the gang looking at them.
